What is AudibleSDS™?
AudibleSDS™ delivers spoken SDS content for all sixteen GHS sections, plus an SDS overview—making hazard identification and PPE review faster and more accessible.
How can I use AudibleSDS™?
First, open any SDS from Search or UPC scanning. In the SDS Viewer, tap the AudibleSDS™ icon to open the audio player.
Choose Overall Summary or any GHS section to start playback. You can tap another section at any time to begin listening to information for a different section. AudibleSDS™ helps workers access SDS information even while wearing gloves or handling equipment.
Language Settings
AudibleSDS™ integrates with SDS Mobile™’s Language Setting, allowing your team to hear SDS content in their preferred language. This supports multilingual teams and improves accessibility for workers whose first language is not English.
This capability helps ensure every worker—regardless of language proficiency—can understand hazards, PPE requirements, and emergency instructions clearly.
How to Change Your Language Setting for SDS Mobile™
The language dropdown in the 'Settings' menu applies your preferred language across all parts of SDS Mobile™
Tap the “Menu” tab in the bottom-left corner of the app.
Select “Settings.”
Tap “Language.”
Select your preferred language from the list.
Return to any SDS and tap the AudibleSDS™ icon — playback will now use your selected language.
How to Change Your Language Setting for AudibleSDS™
You can also change your preferred language for SDS Mobile™ directly in the AudibleSDS™ feature. Every time you access AudibleSDS™, the language dropdown is present at the top of the page. This allows users to quickly switch between languages will using this feature.
Important Note: Changing the language setting in AudibleSDS™ also applies to all sections of SDS Mobile™.

AudibleSDS™ and Offline Mode
AudibleSDS™ requires an active internet connection. While SDS documents can be downloaded for offline use, audio playback is not available in Offline Mode.
If you anticipate working in a no-signal environment, make sure your SDS are downloaded through Offline Mode, and review written content when audio is unavailable.
