After logging into the SDS-Mobile app, you will be directed to the Search SDS page within the app. The Search SDS function is one of the main features of the SDS-Mobile app which will allow you to search the SDS database of KHA for any commercial chemical product.

There are two ways to search for an SDS within the app.
The first option is to type a search term and perform a search in the app.
Using this option allows you to search for an SDS via Product Name or Manufacturer Name which will return more targeted search results.
You can also search generic terms such as 'paint' or 'oil', however these generic terms will return many more search results and will return results for any SDS that fits the generic term you entered.
After you enter your search term, you must click the search icon on your keyboard. The app will not search until you click that button.
The second option is to use the Barcode Scanner to search for the SDS. If you have a chemical product in hand, you can scan the barcode and the SDS-Mobile app will search for the SDS that matches the barcode.
If a match is found, the app will return the search results for the SDS that match the barcode.
If no match is found, the app will prompt you to take photos and submit them to KHA so our team can source the SDS for that barcode and add it to the database.
