Ready to start building your earnings history? Your first shift can be as simple or detailed as you want, and you can customize what you track as you go.

Add a shift

  1. From the Calendar, select the date you want to record.

  2. Tap the green + in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Choose Shift.

You can also use the + to record a day off or paycheck.

The default currency is US Dollar. To change it before recording earnings, open More → Preferences → Currency.

Enter your earnings

Enter the tips you earned from the shift. With Premium, you can track cash and credit card tips separately and select your job, position, shift type and section.

You can set up these work details in Preferences.

Add your hours

Record how long you worked using Hours + Minutes, or select Shift Times to enter your exact start and end times.

If you enter shift times, you can also add any break minutes so ServerLife can calculate your hours worked.

Choose what else you want to track

Tap Add more fields to choose what you want to record. Premium adds options such as tip-outs, tip-ins, sales, mileage, deliveries and covers (guests or clients).

With Premium, you can also track hourly wages, including different wages for different positions.

You don’t need to fill out every field. Leave any fields that don’t apply to the shift blank.

Add notes or a photo

Use Notes to record anything you want to remember about the shift. With Premium, you can also add a photo by selecting the camera icon at the top of the screen.

Save your shift

When you're finished, tap Save Shift. Your shift will be added to your Calendar and become part of your earnings history.
