Understanding payment sections
There are two payment sections:
NZD payments
These are payments that will be included in your bank payment file.
Manual payments
These are payments that need to be handled outside of the bank file manually.
Generate a bank payment file (NZD payments)
Go to the NZD payments tab
Click Download bank file
Select the bank account you want to use
Click Download
Your bank payment file will download as a .csv file, which you can upload to your banking platform to process payments.
Manual payments
Payments will appear under Manual payments if a shareholder:
Has not provided a bank account
Has provided an invalid NZ bank account number
Has provided a foreign bank account
To export these:
Click Download CSV
You’ll need to process these payments separately once you have the correct banking details (e.g. via your banking platform in a new .csv or another method).
Managing payment statuses
For record keeping, you can mark shareholder payments as:
Unpaid (default)
Paid – click the ✓ icon
Rejected – click the ✕ icon
Mark all as paid
Once payments have been processed in your bank:
Click Mark all paid
Why a payment might be rejected
A payment may be marked as rejected if:
The bank account is closed
The account number is incorrect
You can update the details and mark the payment as paid once successfully reprocessed.
Important things to know
NZD bank files are used for bulk payments through your bank
Always check bank account details before processing payments
