Update a shareholder’s bank account
From the left-hand menu, go to Shareholders
Find the shareholder you want to update
Click the Actions (⋯) menu on the right
Select Edit entity
In the edit window, click the Dividend details tab
Click Add or edit bank account
What details do I need to enter?
Basic details
Account holder name (auto-filled, but can be edited)
Account nickname (optional)
Currency (e.g. NZD, AUD, CAD, GBP — based on company settings)
Choose your payment type
You’ll need to select a Payment type:
Local payment
For domestic bank accounts
This is the most common option
The format will depend on the selected currency
International payment
For overseas bank accounts
Requires additional information
Enter bank details
The fields you’ll need to complete depend on the shareholders choice of currency and payment type.
Local payments
If you select Local, you’ll typically only need to enter the bank account number in the required format:
NZD – New Zealand bank account number
AUD – BSB and account number
CAD – Transit number, institution number, and account number
Once completed, click Save.
International payments
If you select International, you’ll need to provide the above information and further detailed information.
Additional Bank details
Country of domicile
SWIFT/BIC
Bank name
Bank address

Beneficiary address
Additional routing (if required)
For further credit (if required)
Final beneficiary name
Account number or reference
Additional instructions
Once completed, click Save.
Important things to know
Currency and payment formats are controlled by your company's currency settings

Keeping bank details accurate helps avoid payment failures or delays
Shareholders can also provide or update their own details
