BlinkPay’s platform uses secure open banking APIs (software that lets one service talk to another) and is a registered user with Payments NZ. They’re also independently certified with the internationally recognised ISO27001 standard for Information Security Management.

BlinkPay uses open banking APIs to connect directly to the systems of its supported banks. That means when you make an instant bank transfer, you’ll be logging in directly to your online banking through a secure connection, and you’ll be covered by your bank’s regular fraud and security protections.
