Reminder e-mail

Resend the signing invitation

Updated over a week ago

How can I re-send the link from the signing request?

If you have sent a signing request and the signer claims not to have received an e-mail, there are various ways to solve the problem:

Method 1 : Signing on premise

If you select signing on premise for this transaction, the signing link can be retrieved in the portal. The link can then be sent using your own e-mail programme in a new e-mail to the client.  Automatic reminders are switched off by default when ‘on premise’ is selected.

How to copy the link?
Right-click on the blue underlined link and pick 'Copy' to copy the link and paste it in your e-mail programme.

Method 2 : Signing by invitation

First check the transaction overview to see whether the transaction actually exists.  If the transaction is there, check under ‘Details’ to see whether a request to sign has been sent (as shown in figure 2 below). If so, Signhost has sent an e-mail and it is up to the recipient to accept it.

Reminder e-mail
An automatic reminder will be send if the signer has not signed yet. Following our standard interval this would be 7 days unless you have adjusted it.

Do you want to send a reminder e-mail sooner?
This is possible by copying the link and sending it yourself via your own e-mail programme.

How to copy the link?
Right-click on the blue underlined link and pick 'Copy' to copy the link and paste it in your e-mail programme.
