Your Channel will automatically be configured with a set of default Roles and Permissions for access to your channel and solutions; and subsequent User Types that you can then allocate to each new User that you configure.

However, as you configure your channel to better suit your network and workflows, you may want to create new specific Roles and Permissions that you can then also use as settings in User Profiles to manage that User's access to your channel.

To create new Roles and Permissions, you need to first select the "Solution" that you want to define a new Permission Group for access.

When you have selected the appropriate Solution, you can now create a new Permission Group by clicking the + sign:

You will be prompted to create a name for the new Permission Group. In this example we are creating a new Permission Group for a new User Type called Triage Team, with the Triage Team having slightly different User Access to the overall Credit Assessor Role:

When you have created you new Permission Group, you will be presented with a 'blank' Permission Group with no settings, ready to be configured with the Permissions for this User Type:

You will need to work through each Permission Solution and their corresponding Sections to configure this new Permission Group. Remember to SAVE each Section as you work through them.

Note also that if you want this new Permission Group to be tied to a new User Type, you should make sure you create this Permission Group per Solution.

In the screen shot above, this is setting the "Triage Team" Permissions for Solution: Simpology Manager.

You will also need to consider setting a "Triage Team" Permission for Solution: Loanapp, Solution: Omni, and any other "Solutions" that make sense for this Permission Group. Then when you set up the new User profile, you will want to make sure you set each Solution Permission Group for that User:
