What is a License?
A License represents a seat in SingleOps that allows you to assign access to a User. Each Admin or Operator User requires an standard license that is paid for (details defined in your contract), while Crew users require a limited license, which is always free with SingleOps.
⚠️ Keep in mind that a license and a user are not the same thing. A license is the paid (or free) seat; a user is the person you assign to that seat.
Purchase a License
⚠️ Note that only Account Owner Admins can purchase licenses.
To purchase a license, navigate to: Setup > Users
Once on the Users page, select +Purchase next to the appropriate license type
Enter the number of licenses you would like to purchase.
Select Purchase
⚠️ By clicking purchase, you agree to be billed for the additional user(s) per your current subscription agreement, and acknowledge all additional users are subject to SingleOps's terms of use. This bill will be applied to the current payment method on file.
After Purchasing
Once you have purchased a license, you can add and assign your user. For step-by-step guidance see the Add or Edit a User article for more information.
Troubleshooting
The +Purchase button is missing. You may not be an Account Owner, or you may be at your seat limit. Confirm your ownership role and current seat usage, and have an existing Account Owner grant you ownership if needed.
The purchase button refreshes the page and no license is applied. Try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito window. If the issue persists, contact SingleOps Support so the team can investigate further.
Removing Licenses
You can only remove licenses at the end of your contract term, through a SingleOps team member, as our billing system reflects current contract terms. You can Deactivate Users at any time. Know that deactivating a User does not impact your subscription or reduce your bill.
Additional Notes:
You are required to have a minimum number of licenses with SingleOps, so you are unable to go below the base if it puts you below the minimum number of licenses.
