Mobile App

Learn how to manage your SKED app registration settings, set appointment type preferences, and control patient scheduling limits.

📝 Overview

The Mobile App tab in SKED allows offices to manage patient scheduling preferences, control appointment access, and customize app usage settings. It’s the central place where you determine how patients interact with your office through the SKED app — from selecting which appointments they can book to limiting how often and how far in advance they can schedule.

📱 Mobile App Tab Details

The Mobile App tab is where you can locate your app registration settings and update your scheduling preferences for app users.

⚙️ Mobile Appointment Type Settings

The Mobile Appointment Type Settings section allows you to choose which appointment types you would like to make available for patients to schedule in the SKED app.

Whichever appointment types are listed in the Selected Appointment Types column will be available for your patients to schedule through the SKED app.

If the Selected Appointment Types column is empty, patients will only be able to schedule your default Adjustment Appointment.

🔒 App Limitations

App Limitations allow you to control when and how often practice members can schedule or reschedule appointments through the SKED app.

  • The Allow Same Day Scheduling feature enables patients to schedule and reschedule same-day appointments.

  • The Reschedule Limit allows you to set how many times a patient can reschedule each appointment. If a patient attempts to reschedule beyond this limit, the app will notify them to contact the office.

  • The Future Scheduling Limit determines how far into the future a patient can schedule a new appointment or reschedule an existing appointment.

Key Takeaways

  • The Mobile App tab manages app registration and scheduling preferences.

  • Appointment types in the Selected Appointment Types column control what patients can book.

  • App Limitations settings help control same-day, reschedule, and future appointment options.

📌 Conclusion

The Mobile App tab gives your office full control over how patients schedule appointments in the SKED app. By managing appointment types and scheduling limitations, you can create a smoother, more efficient experience for both your practice and your patients.
