📝 Overview
App limitations allow you to control when and how often practice members can schedule or reschedule appointments through the SKED app, as well as how they can contact your office when a limitation has been reached.
📞 Cutoff Contact Method
The cutoff contact method allows you to choose your preferred contact method for when a patient needs to reach out to your office due to a scheduling limitation or conflict.
⏰ Allow Same Day Scheduling
The Allow Same Day Scheduling feature will automatically be enabled by default.
This means practice members will have the option to schedule and reschedule same-day appointments.
You can disable this feature by unchecking the box to prevent same-day scheduling.
🔁 Reschedule Limit
To determine how many times patients can reschedule each appointment, you can enable the Reschedule Limit.
If an app user tries to reschedule past this limit, the app will notify them to contact the office.
📅 Future Scheduling Limit
You can also set a Future Scheduling Limit to determine how far into the future patients can schedule a new appointment or reschedule an existing appointment.
🚫 Show Missed Appointments Limit
The Show Missed Appointments Limit allows you to control how long missed appointments remain visible in the app.
If this setting is enabled, missed appointments can still be rescheduled for as long as they remain in the app.
If the setting is not enabled, missed appointments will remain in the app until the end of the appointment date and cannot be rescheduled.
