The Pro App is your field toolkit for setting up SmartAC.com equipment, onboarding members, and accessing system information while you're in the home.
Who Uses It
The Pro App is designed for field technicians and owners who work in member homes. CSRs and office staff use the Partner Dashboard instead.
What You Can Do
Set up SmartAC hardware - Install sensors and configure equipment
Onboard new members - Walk through Connect and Detect plan setup
Look up member information - Search members by name or view on a map
Check system performance - See how systems are running and what alerts need attention
Access support - Chat with SmartAC.com customer success directly from the app
App Navigation
The Pro App has five main sections in the bottom navigation:
Home Your performance scorecard showing:
Units installed
Verified install percentage
Member filter purchases
Member login tracking
Opportunities A list of potential breakdowns nearby that you could address proactively while in the area.
Members Map and search to look up member accounts and their system details.
Jobs Upcoming scheduled service calls and tune-ups in the SmartAC.com system.
Account Help articles, support links, and profile settings including your profile picture.
Onboarding a Member
When you onboard a new member, the app guides you through collecting:
Nameplate information
HVAC system details
Member information
The app has separate walkthroughs for Connect and Detect plans. If a CSR already created the account, that information appears when you search for the member.
Once you complete the setup, the data goes to SmartAC.com's backend. This enables cycle tracking, filter monitoring, thermostat connections, and all the features the member sees in their app.
Verified Installs
Verifications confirm your install was done correctly. Partners may run incentive programs tied to verified installs, and SmartAC.com sometimes runs special promotions on them.
Your Performance Metrics
The stats on your Home screen feed into the Adoption Dashboard in the Partner Dashboard. This shows your company which technicians are contributing to retention goals through filter purchases and member app logins.
