How can I improve my verification percentage?

Written by Chelsie Salib

Verified installs confirm that hardware is properly installed and actively collecting data. A higher verification rate means more members will receive the monitoring included in their plan.

What Makes an Install Verified

A Verified Unit is a SmartAC.com Hardware Kit that has passed these installation checks:

  1. Is the Hub online?

  2. Are all sensors online?

  3. Do Water Sensors in a drain pan have a water riser installed?

  4. Is the Comfort Sensor in an acceptable location? - Not placed in areas where it shouldn't be, or positioned poorly at the sensor location

  5. Has the nameplate photo or unit information been properly captured?

  6. Is the connectivity on all devices acceptable? - Hub placed in a good central location relative to each sensor, with close enough distance for solid transmission

Best Practices

Before leaving the home:

  • Verify all sensors appear in the Pro App and show "online"

  • Confirm the Hub has a solid connection

  • Complete every field in the onboarding flow, including a clear nameplate photo

  • Install the water riser on any Water Sensor placed in a drain pan

  • Place the Comfort Sensor in an approved location

  • Have the member log in and confirm they can see everything online

Monitoring Your Rate

Technicians: Check your verification percentage in the Pro App under the Installs tab.

Partners: Check your team's verification percentage on the Adoption Dashboard.
