What is Click to Unlock?

The click to unlock feature in Self-Guided Tours will enable prospects to preview using some of the smart home technology on their tour. Not only will prospects get to use our smart home solutions, but the updated UI within the access screen in SGT will allow prospects to better track what units they have already toured, if they are on a multi-unit tour. The click to unlock button also provides a more streamlined UI, with a reduction of codes and non-pertinent information on the unit cards.

Setup and Enablement

The click to unlock button will be a configuration toggle contained in the Tours General Settings. For all communities, this will be DISABLED by default.

To enable the click to unlock button follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Tours > General

  2. Enable the toggle

    1. IMPORTANT NOTE: Auto lock must be enabled to use this toggle. This page can be accessed from the tool top or from Settings > Property Device Config > Lock Settings.

  3. Setup is complete!

Updates

The access cards page was updated to create a more streamlined experience for prospects. The following changes were made:

  1. Community Access Cards: Updated to include any door names and a loading state.

    1. Door Names are pulled from the community access integration that is enabled. If there is no door name, we will default to simply using “Door.”

    2. The loading state will show prospects that we are trying to get the code from the provider.

  2. Unit Access Cards: Updated to bring prominent unit information forward and reduce noise on the screen.

  3. Up and down scrolling: Previously, if a prospect had multiple units to tour, we would allow them to move between cards by scrolling left or right. Now, prospects will be able to scroll up and down to navigate between cards.

  4. Access Code Usage Indicators: Allows prospects to track what doors they have already unlocked.
