What are the Different User Roles in Alloy Install?

There are three user roles within Alloy Install: Manager, Integrator, and Technician. User roles determine what users can do and see within the Alloy Install App.

User Role Permissions:

Administratives

  • Can create, edit, and delete:

    • Projects

    • Jobs

    • Tasks

  • Can cancel Jobs

  • Can add:

    • Manager users

    • Integrator users

    • Technician users

  • Can view:

    • Who created Projects

    • Who created Tasks

    • Cannot Complete reasons

  • Can remove access for Managers, Integrators, and Technicians

  • Can schedule Project start and end times

  • Can assign users to Projects

  • Can restore deleted Projects and Jobs

Managers

  • Can create and edit:

    • Projects

    • Tasks

    • Jobs

  • Can delete Tasks

  • Can cancel Jobs

  • Can add:

    • Integrator users

    • Technician users

  • Can view:

    • Who created Projects

    • Who created Tasks

    • Cannot complete reasons

  • Can remove access for Integrators and Technicians

  • Can schedule Project start and end times

  • Can assign users to Projects

Integrators

  • Can add:

    • Jobs to the Project to which they are assigned

    • Tasks to Jobs within the Project they are assigned

  • Can view:

    • Projects to which they are assigned

    • Jobs within Projects to which they are assigned

    • Schedule for the Project to which they are assigned

  • Can close Jobs when the work is completed

  • Can add Technician users

  • Can assign Jobs to Technicians

Technicians

  • Can view:

    • Jobs to which they are assigned

    • Schedules of the Jobs to which they are assigned

  • Can close Tasks once completed, or mark as cannot complete

  • Can edit their own account information
