SmartRent Manager
New features
Bulk Update Settings
Our new Bulk Settings functionality within SmartRent Manager is now live! Previously, users with the right permissions could only update settings for an individual property. The Bulk Settings feature empowers users to update settings across all communities they have access to in SmartRent Manager, saving time and improving portfolio management capabilities for owners and operators.
We encourage you to learn more about the ins-and-outs of Bulk Settings as well as how it works in this support guide. Additionally, we’re sharing this tutorial to walk you through how to utilize the feature.
Automatically Close Work Orders Based on Temperature
This update applies to instances in which a unit has a temperature outside the setpoints configured and a work order is created. When it is detected that the unit’s temperature returns to the setpoints within a 4 hour period, SmartRent will automatically close the work order.
Unit Status Report Update
In the unit status report, SmartRent will now display a new column titled “Unit Can Be Toured” that indicates whether or not a unit is enabled for self guided tours.
Staff Adoption Report Update
SmartRent will now provide the count of how many times users log in to SmartRent Manager Mobile.
Resident App
Bug fixes
Password Too Easy to Guess
We’ve updated the error messaging when a resident is creating their account, to display “Error Submitting Form. Password too easy to guess.” This will limit confusion and issues for residents creating their accounts.
Multi-Unit Residents with more than 25 units could not see all of their units.
We’ve increased the amount of units we display when residents are in the Unit Select screen. The new limit is 100 Units.
