SmartRent Manager 05.18.22
Features
Reports Permissions - Organizational admins can now give site teams permission to view and manage organizational-level reports for their assigned communities. These new permissions will provide greater flexibility to admins around granting access permissions to site teams for reporting.
Organizational admins will navigate to Settings from the top navigation bar then select Roles to create a role with these permissions. Scrolling to the bottom of the page, you will find a new Reports permission type with the following options:
View: This gives the user the ability to view and download any reports within the Reports tab on the organization-level overview page. This permission is disabled by default for all non-organization admin users
Manage: This gives users the ability to toggle reports on or off, as well as the ability to update customizable columns
Please note that Organizational Dashboards will be visible when these permissions are used.
Vendor Permissions - Organizational admins will now have the option to set permissions around viewing and managing vendors in SmartRent Manager. Organizational admins can click on Settings from the top navigation and select Roles. From there, they will see a new section (“Vendor”) with two new user permissions:
View Vendor: Users can view the vendor tab to see existing vendors
Manage Vendor: Users can generate new vendors, update vendor information, and remove current vendors
These permissions will be enabled by default for all new users. Existing users with a manager designation will be granted View Vendor permissions. If the View Vendor permission is disabled, the manager permission will be automatically disabled as well.
Kwikset Z-Wave Locks Integration - We are now integrated with the Kwikset Smartcode 916 Z-Wave lock. Like other Z-Wave locks we support, the Kwikset Smartcode 916 requires a SmartRent hub to connect the lock to a SmartRent account. This integration supports our initiative to provide flexible hardware options for you and your community.
Alloy Access 2.10
Features
16+ Floor Elevator Support - The vision of Alloy Access is to support buildings of all shapes and sizes, so we are excited to announce we have updated the elevator logic to support buildings with 16 floors or more. Elevator access has always been a challenge for communities due to the complexity around hardware and software integration. By adding support for cascading panels, the Alloy Access product offering will take people to new heights.
Alloy Parking 05.18.22
Features
Yardi - Vehicle Import and Export Sync - This integration makes it easy for those who use Yardi to integrate with Alloy Parking. Enabling this integration will allow for automatic sync of vehicle data between Yardi and Alloy Parking bi-directionally. Vehicle information and records are kept updated on both systems, so that you no longer need to manually input or delete vehicle information twice.
Once all vehicles are imported, they will be assigned to the lease holder on the lease within SmartRent Manager, including vehicles associated with roommates.
To allow this vehicle import sync (after enabling Yardi on SmartRent Manager), go to Settings -> Integrations -> Yardi -> Property Settings, and then click on Sync to enable.
Yardi - Reservation Sync - This integration will allow for automatic sync between Yardi and Alloy Parking to pull resident space assignments. Resident space assignments are automatically synced hourly from Yardi to Alloy Parking, reducing the need for manual entry and allowing for greater convenience at communities using Yardi.
To allow this vehicle import sync (after enabling Yardi on SmartRent Manager), go to Settings -> Integrations -> Yardi -> Property Settings, and then click on Sync to enable.
