Community Manager Web 1.91
Features
SightPlan Subcategories - This feature adds a new subcategory field to the property settings on the SightPlan integration and provides an additional level of customization. A common use case would be mapping work orders from SmartRent to SightPlan. This level of customization will provide additional work order analytics so your site team(s) will have a better understanding of what issues are most common in your community.
Community WiFi 2.0 & Bulk Apply Community WiFi - SmartRent is committed to working with your community to install Community WiFi. Community WiFi enhances hub connectivity by putting all hubs on a single network that can be managed remotely for optimal performance; this helps lead to a better experience with our products.
The Bulk Apply Community WiFi feature will allow installers at a Community WiFi property to apply Community WiFi settings to all online hubs. When Community WiFi is enabled, and as long as there is a specified network name (SSID) and password, once per night the system will check all online hubs not on Community WiFi and will transition them to the Community WiFi.
To access the Bulk Apply Community WiFi screen: go to the Property Settings → Community WiFi.
Unit Page Quick Filters & Notifications - Hub Offline - The Unit Page Quick Filters feature is located on the Units tab and will allow site team members to filter the table and see which hub has been offline for more than 24 hours or how many units have at least one device installed. Please note that the device filter will only count the total number of units with at least one device and not the total devices installed. This information will be helpful for the installation process.
The Notifications - Hub Offline feature allows organization administrators to select who will receive a notification, depending on what their role was enabled for, when a hub is offline for more than 24 hours from a list of roles with email and SMS options. The site team can leverage this information to generate work orders to ensure the hubs are reconnected and back online. Hub Offline Notifications are set up at Settings → staff notifications → Hub Offline Notifications.
Region Assignment - Community Manager Web users can now create a region to help organize your properties and site teams; after creating a region, new and existing users can be assigned to that region.
Door Mode Change Permissions - Currently, users need both Access View and Access Update permissions to see the Doors tab. This feature will separate the permissions as follows:
Access View will now see the Doors tab and table as read only.
Access Update will now see the Doors tab and table, and will be able to change the mode of the door.
Bug Fixes
Add Device without Enabling Integration - This bug fix eliminates any confusion by requiring a user to enable the integration before they can add devices.
Table Not Refreshing State When Using A Drawer Action - There was an issue with adding a Ring device or a credential (in the My Access tab); this change was not reflecting in the list until the user refreshed the page. This bug fix allows the user to see the change immediately.
Self-Guided Tours 2.52
Features
Welcome and End of Tour Video - We have enhanced the prospect’s Self-Guided Tour video experience by providing you with the ability to present video on the Welcome and End of Tour screens. Combined with the recently released Amenity video feature, prospective residents receive a more engaging experience as they research their next home.
You can enable this feature by going to Settings → Tours → Custom Messages where you can add a YouTube video link to the Welcome and End of Tour sections.
Private YouTube videos are not supported; the visibility setting within YouTube must be set as Public or Unlisted.
Only 1 YouTube video is allowed for each Welcome and End of Tour.
RentCafe Integration - Pull Schedule Availability - Our new RentCafe Integration provides your site teams with more efficient management of Self-Guided Tour scheduling by providing a single source of truth within the RentCafe calendar. It will no longer be necessary to manually align RentCafe and SmartRent’s tour calendars.
To set up, Org Admins go to Settings → Integrations → RentCafe, then add the company code and marketing API to the credential section, followed by the property code in the Property Settings section.
Entrata - Cancellation Event for Tours - For site teams that use Entrata, we have improved the management of Self-Guided Tour scheduling. Previously, when a tour was cancelled or rescheduled it was not communicated to Entrata. Now a cancel event is sent to Entrata which removes the tour from the Entrata calendar. This feature saves time as you will no longer have to verify in Community Manager Web whether or not a scheduled tour has been cancelled.
Entrata - Event Add SubType for Tour Insert - We have enhanced the management of Self-Guided Tour scheduling for communities with the Entrata integration enabled. Previously, when new Self-Guided Tours entered Entrata, the site team could not quickly identify the data was related to a Self-Guided Tour. Recently, Entrata added a Self-Guided Tour event type that enables the SmartRent integration to insert newly scheduled tours as Self-Guided Tours, resulting in added clarity for your site team(s).
Tour Cancellation Notification to Staff - As currently offered with Tour Scheduled Notifications, we are providing your site team(s) the ability to receive notifications via SMS and/or email when a Self-Guided Tour is cancelled. This saves your team(s) time by not having to constantly check tour status within Community Manager Web. Go to Settings → Staff → Notification Settings → Tour Cancelled Notifications to configure.
Phone Verification Code - SMS Update - In order to ensure SMS text deliverability by carriers, we need to give prospects the option to request help or opt-out of receiving SMS messages. If prospects respond with HELP, a follow up text message will be sent providing contact details for the SmartRent support team. If prospects respond with STOP, a follow up message will be sent alerting prospects that they will no longer receive messages from SmartRent.
