Community Manager Web 1.87.0

Features

Auto Retry Disarm Ring Alarm - To prevent prospects from accidentally triggering the Ring Alarm during a tour we’ve added an auto-retry functionality to our disarm feature that will attempt to disarm the Ring Alarm 30 minutes prior to the start of tour hours. The automatic system will try to disarm the Ring Alarm a maximum of 5 times before alerting your site teams of the disarm failure by SMS or Email (according to notification settings at the property level). This feature is automatic and does not require enablement within Community Manager Web.

*(To ensure notification settings are enabled for your site teams, visit Property Settings → Staff → Notification Settings)

Ring Alarm Notification Improvements - In order to provide more clarity to users on what the issue was arming or disarming their Ring Alarm, we now provide a “reason” within our Error Email and SMS notification to site teams. Here is a list of potential error messages:

  1. Unreachable - “The Ring Alarm is not connected or unreachable at this time. Please login to Ring to resolve it.”

  2. Not Ready - “The Ring Alarm was not completely set up and is currently not paired. Please login to Ring to resolve it.”

  3. Unauthorized (Disarm Only) - “Invalid Disarm code. Please login to Ring to resolve it.”

  4. Bypass Needed (Arm Only) - “One or more of the alarm sensors have been tripped. Please login to Ring to resolve it.”

Bug Fixes

Not Able to Add Ring Device - We’ve fixed the previous behavior where site teams were unable to add a Ring Device within Property Settings on the Ring Integrations tab. The workflow now functions as expected.

Self-Guided Tours 2.48.0

Features

Reschedule with No Available Unit Communication - There is now an option for your site teams to enable a “Waitlist” for prospects if there are currently no available homes to tour during the reschedule process. If a prospect chooses to opt-in to the waitlist they will receive availability notifications if a unit becomes available to tour. Waitlist duration options are chosen by your site teams for 30, 60, or 90 days. If no units become available before the waitlist duration expires the prospect will be “dropped off” the waitlist. This will provide an extra layer of communication to prospective residents when receiving their tour cancellation message and entice prospects to opt-in to availability notifications for a higher prospect to lease success rate.

Welcome and End of Tour Message Requirement Update - To provide you with flexibility around our custom welcome and end of tour message communication, your site teams now have the ability to enter either a welcome message or end of tour message without both fields needing to be required prior to saving.

Alloy Parking 1.16

Features

Interactive Maps 1.0 - Engrain has partnered exclusively with SmartRent to provide free parking maps to all new and existing clients! Interactive maps offer an enhanced, visual experience for site teams. Now it is even easier to manage and assign parking spaces based on the proximity and location to a unit, entrances, amenities, and other areas on the property! Interactive Maps 1.0 allows community managers to view real-time space capacity, and manage the health of their parking inventory.

Interactive Maps will need to be enabled by our Support Team prior to appearing in Community Manager Web. Once Maps is enabled in SupportRent, you will see the new "Map" tab at the top of the page. Click on this tab to display the community map.

Features of Interactive Maps include:

  • Display all parking spaces in the community

  • Zoom-In feature on Tablets

  • Click the “Status” filter to display all space statuses as options to be selected

Clicking on a parking space on the Engrain map opens the corresponding "Space Details" page in Community Manager Web Parking; this is where your site teams can assign a resident a space or view guest parking sessions.

For more information please reach out to your Account Manager.

Bug Fixes

The “Next” button now works to view all vehicle pages when a resident has more than 5 vehicles - Now when viewing a resident lease, if you click on "view resident" and the resident has more than 5 vehicles, you are able to click on all vehicle pages.
