Trouble linking your TikTok account

A TikTok account that won't link is usually fixed by updating TikTok or resetting the TikTok authorization in Soco; reinstalling Soco is the last resort, and the app chat takes it from there.

Three fixes cover almost every failed link, and they're worth running in order: update TikTok, reset the authorization, reinstall Soco.

Update TikTok

An outdated TikTok version can block the connection:

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Search TikTok.

  3. Update it if an update is available.

  4. Try connecting again in Soco.

Reset the TikTok authorization in Soco

This clears the old permission so you can approve fresh:

  1. Under Profile in the Soco app, tap Continue with TikTok.

  2. On the TikTok authorization page, scroll down.

  3. Tap Remove all access.

  4. Back in Soco, tap Continue with TikTok again and approve.

  5. Check your TikTok account now shows as connected.

Reinstall Soco

If it still won't connect:

  1. Delete the Soco app.

  2. Reinstall it from the App Store.

  3. Sign in and try connecting again.

Still not linking?
