I do not have a VAT number. Can I still buy a ticket?

Yes. You can still purchase a ticket even if you do not have a VAT number.

If your company is not VAT-registered or you are registering as a private individual, you can continue with your event registration. However, because the VAT number field is mandatory, you must still enter a value in the required format for your selected country.

Enter a value in the VAT number field that includes your country's 2-letter country code and follows the required format for your selected country. Do not include spaces or other symbols.

For example:

If you are purchasing a ticket as a private individual, Dutch VAT at 21% will be applied to the ticket price in accordance with the applicable VAT regulations.

You might see the following message:

“VAT number is invalid. VAT will be charged. Submit a valid VAT number or click ‘Submit payment’ (again) to continue with VAT applied.”

You can disregard the message and click Submit payment again to continue with the purchase and have VAT applied.
