How to Remove or Manage Entrants in a Self-Managed Contest

You can only remove entrants if your contest is self-managed. If your entrants paid an entry fee through Splash, you won’t be able to remove them.

For instance, removing entrants may be necessary to maintain fairness or compliance with contest guidelines, especially if they have violated rules or if errors in their entries are detected.

Follow these steps to manage entrants:

  1. Go to COMMISSIONER Tab > Manage Contests > Entrants Manager

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the entrant’s name

  3. In the pop-up that appears, you can:

  • Add notes about the entrant

  • Pause

  • Prevents picks or new entries -This is temporary and can be undone

  • Remove/Boot - Permanently removes them - This action cannot be undone

  • Unpausing entries before the pick deadline is required to ensure they are not eliminated.

⚠️ These actions are only available on the website — they are not supported in the app.

Always use the Commissioner Tab for centralized management of your pool to ensure all settings and functionalities are properly accessed.

If participants have multiple entries, members can rename or edit their entry name for clear differentiation:

  1. During the season, all renamed entries and their corresponding picks are visible to everyone.
