Winning a contest on Splash? Here's exactly what happens next.
When Are Winnings Credited?
Contest winnings are credited to your Splash Wallet (your account balance) within 24–48 hours of the contest officially ending. For multi-event contests or tournaments, payouts only happen after the final event concludes — not after individual rounds.
If your contest ended recently, allow the full 48-hour window before reaching out. You can check payout details in My Entries by selecting your contest and tapping the ℹ️ icon.
Where Do Winnings Go?
All payouts go directly to your Splash Wallet. From there you can:
Use the balance to enter other contests, or
Withdraw to a linked payment method
Your Splash Wallet and your account balance are the same thing — just two names for one place.
How to Withdraw Your Winnings
⚠️ Withdrawals are not available in the Splash mobile app — use a web browser.
Log in at app.splashsports.com
Click your wallet balance in the top-right corner
Select Withdraw, choose your linked payment method, and follow the prompts
Supported withdrawal methods:
US users: PayPal, Venmo, Debit card, ACH (bank account), Check
Canadian users: PayPal, Skrill, Check
❌ Apple Pay and credit cards cannot be used for withdrawals. To withdraw, the payment method must have been used for at least one deposit of $10 or more.
How Long Does It Take?
Splash processes requests Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM ET (excluding holidays), typically within 48–72 hours. Once approved, your payment provider handles the rest:
PayPal / Venmo — Often same day, up to a few hours after approval
ACH (bank account) — Usually same day, up to 1–3 business days
Debit card — 3–5 business days
Check — 10–14 business days via USPS (US) or Canada Post (Canada)
Ties and Split Payouts
If multiple participants tie, the prize is split equally. For example, three players tying for a $300 prize each receive $100. Tie results are visible in the Final tab of your contest.
Winnings Not Showing After 48 Hours?
If it's been more than 48 hours since your contest ended and your winnings haven't appeared:
Confirm the contest and all associated events have fully concluded
Check My Entries for payout status
Email support@splashsports.com with your account email, the contest name, and the end date
Non-Cash Prizes
Gift cards, merchandise, or other non-cash prizes are handled separately from your Splash Wallet. Delivery timelines vary. If you won a non-cash prize and haven't heard anything within a few days of the contest ending, contact support and we'll look into it.
