How to Share Your Location on Windows

How to enable location sharing for Splash Sports on Windows — step-by-step instructions for Chrome and Firefox, including how to fix blocked permissions.

Updated yesterday

Splash Sports needs access to your location to verify that you're in an eligible state or province. Follow the steps below based on which browser you're using on Windows.

Google Chrome on Windows

  1. Open splashsports.com in Google Chrome

  2. Click the lock icon (or ⓘ) to the left of the address bar

  3. Select Site settings

  4. Under Permissions, find Location

  5. Change the dropdown to Allow

  6. Return to splashsports.com and refresh the page

💡 If Chrome didn't prompt you, you may have previously blocked location access. Following the steps above overrides that block.

Firefox on Windows

If You See the Permission Prompt

  1. Open splashsports.com in Firefox

  2. When the permission prompt appears in the upper-left, click Allow

If You Accidentally Clicked "Block" or the Prompt Didn't Appear

Quick fix:

  1. Click the location error icon in the address bar

  2. Under Permissions, click the X next to Blocked Temporarily

  3. Refresh splashsports.com and click Allow when prompted

Full reset via Settings:

  1. Click the ≡ menu icon in the top-right corner

  2. Go to SettingsPrivacy & Security

  3. Scroll to the Permissions section

  4. Click Settings next to Location

  5. Uncheck Block new requests asking to access your location

  6. Return to splashsports.com and refresh — click Allow when prompted

Still Getting a Location Error?

Also check:

  • VPN is off — VPNs mask your real location and must be fully disconnected

  • Ad blockers are disabled — temporarily turn off any browser extensions that block ads or tracking

  • Network — corporate or secured Wi-Fi can block location access. Try mobile hotspot or home Wi-Fi

If the error persists, email support@splashsports.com with your browser version and a description of the error.
