How to Access Invite Manager For Splash-Managed Contests: Commissioner Tab & Manage & Invite Manager

A step-by-step walkthrough of how to navigate to Invite Manager via the Commissioner Tab, and what you can do once you're there.

How to Access Invite Manager: Commissioner Tab > Manage > Invite Manager

The Invite Manager is your central hub for managing how members join your contest. Here's a step-by-step walkthrough of how to get there and what you can do inside.

Step-by-Step: Getting to Invite Manager

  1. Log in to your account and open the contest you're the commissioner of

  2. In the contest navigation, click the Commissioner Tab Note: This tab is only visible to the contest's commissioner.

  3. From the Commissioner Tab menu, click Manage

  4. In the Manage section, select Invite Manager

What You'll Find in Invite Manager

Once inside Invite Manager, you can:

  • View your contest's invite link — the direct link to share with new members

  • Copy the invite link — use the copy button to grab it quickly

  • Reset the invite link — generate a new link if you want to stop previous links from working (e.g., after the contest has filled up)

  • Set invite permissions — control whether members who join via the link have view-only or editing access

  • Manage pending invites — see who has been invited but hasn't joined yet

  • Choose invite types — select between New Members (for participants who have not joined in prior years) and Existing Members (for returning participants from previous contests) to ensure the correct invite link is shared.

Sharing Your Invite Link

Once you've copied your invite link from Invite Manager, you can share it via:

  • Text message or group chat

  • Email

  • Social media or messaging apps

Members who click the link will be directed to your contest's join page — not your personal commissioner profile.

Account Requirements for Participants

Recipients of the contest link who do not already have a Splash (or legacy OFP/RYP) account will need to create one before they can join the contest.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Participants cannot see both contests:

    • This issue typically occurs when a shared URL is not an official invite link. Ensure you are sharing the correct links as outlined above.

  • Sharing links broadly:

    • You can distribute your contest link widely, such as via email or social media. Just ensure recipients are aware of the account creation requirement if they are new to the platform.
