Transferring money to your Parent Wallet from your kid’s Spriggy card is easy. Before you start, check that you’re using the most updated version of the Spriggy App.
Here’s how to transfer money from your kid’s Card to your Parent Wallet:
1. From your Parent login on the Spriggy app, tap the purple ‘$’ icon.
2. Tap ‘Transfer Money’, then your child’s name.
3. Tap Parent Wallet, when you’re asked to choose where you want to transfer money to.
4. Tap the child’s Card, when you’re asked to choose where you want the money to come from.
5. Enter the amount and add a description if you’d like to.
6. Tap ‘Next’, ‘Confirm’, and then ‘Done’.
Your funds have been transferred!
Steps to transfer funds within your Parent Wallet from your kid’s Savings or Savings Goals
Funds in your kid’s Savings or Goals form part of your Parent Wallet and contribute to your Parent Wallet limit. But don’t worry, transferring money within your Parent Wallet from your kid’s Savings or Savings Goals is also easy.
Here’s how to transfer money within your Parent Wallet from your kid’s Savings:
1. From your Parent login on the Spriggy app, tap the purple ‘$’ icon.
2. Tap ‘Transfer Money’, then your child’s name.
3. Tap Parent Wallet, when you’re asked to choose where you want to transfer money to.
4. Tap the child’s Savings, when you’re asked to choose where you want the money to come from.
5. Enter the amount and add a description if you’d like to.
6. Tap ‘Next’, ‘Confirm’, and then ‘Done’.
Your funds have been transferred!
Note: Money in Savings Goals can only be moved once the goal is complete or if it’s deleted. So if you’re looking to transfer money within your Parent Wallet from a Savings Goal, you will first need to delete the Savings Goal. The money will go back to your child’s Savings, and you can then transfer it within your Parent Wallet.
To delete a goal as a parent:
1. Log into Spriggy using your Parent Login.
2. Select the profile of the child whose goal you want to delete.
3. Tap ‘Savings and Goals’.
4. Tap the goal you’d like to delete.
5. Tap ‘Edit’ and then ‘Delete’.
6. Tap ‘Delete Goal’ and ‘Done’.
7. Then follow the steps above to move the funds within your Parent Wallet from your kid’s Savings.
