How travelers can purchase or remove add-ons from portal

Travelers can purchase and return add-ons within their Traveler Portal. Get step by step instructions on how to purchase and return.

Intended Audience: For Travelers who want to purchase or return add-ons within their traveler portal.

Article Summary: Trip Organizers can make additional excursions, products, or trip enhancements at any time. If a traveler has already registered but want to purchase additional add-ons, they can make a purchase within their traveler portal. If they have a payment plan and would like to return an add-on, they can remove the add-on within their portal as long as they have a balance remaining.

How to purchase add-ons

Add-ons can be purchased during the initial booking and registration process or within the traveler portal after registration. To purchase an add-on after registration:

  1. Log in to your traveler portal

  2. Scroll below the payment plan schedule to Add-Ons

  3. Select the quantity of add-ons you’d like to purchase

  4. Price is per add-on inclusive of any processing fees, if applicable

  5. Click Purchase the Add-ons


Purchased add-ons will be added to the “Purchased” tab. This is where you can see all the add-ons purchased, the quantity for each, and the total price inclusive of fees, if applicable.

Purchasing add-ons with a payment plan

If the traveler has a payment plan with remaining installments, the cost of the add-ons will be added to the total balance due and distributed among the remaining installments.

Purchasing add-ons with a fully paid balance

If the traveler has no balance due but wants to purchase an add-on the card on file will be charged at the time of purchase.


How to return/remove add-ons

Add-ons can only be removed by a traveler if they have an active payment plan with a total balance due that is greater than the total cost of the add-ons being returned. To remove the add-ons:

  1. Log in to your traveler portal

  2. Scroll below the payment plan schedule to Add-Ons

  3. Select the “Purchased” tab

  4. Select which add-ons you’d like to return

  5. Click Remove Add-Ons

  6. Select the quantity you want to return for each add-on (if there are multiple)

  7. Click “Remove

Returning add-ons with a payment plan

If the traveler has a payment plan with remaining installments, the cost of the returned add-ons will be subtracted from the total balance due. The remaining installment amounts will be reduced accordingly.

Purchasing add-ons with a fully paid balance

When your balance is fully paid, a refund needs to be processed by the Trip Organizer. Contact the Trip Organizer and request a refund for the total cost of the add-ons you want to return.
