Intended Audience: For Travelers who want to apply a promo code they’ve received from their Trip Organizer.
Article Summary: Trip Organizers can share unique promo codes that will reduce the order subtotal. To apply the promo code to their order, travelers can enter the code at checkout during registration or within their traveler account after purchase. Promo codes that offer a percentage discount can only be applied at checkout.

How to apply a promo code at checkout
After you’ve selected your packages, add-ons, and a payment option, enter the code in the order summary section. The discount will be applied and you can proceed to checkout.
How to apply a promo code on my traveler account
Open trip Details page (Payment page)
Click Apply Promocode (Below the trip summary on the left side)
When we select the button a new field for promo code will appear. Enter the name of the promo code in the field in the order summary within your traveler account.
When the promo code is applied, the name of the promo code will not be visible - it will be shown as Discount in the trip summary
☝️ If there is no button or field present, this means you’ve already applied a discount to your order. A discount line item will appear just before the subtotal.
❌ After checkout, travelers can only apply promo codes that offer a set discount. If they enter a code that offers a percentage discount, the code will not work.
Promo Code rules
Travelers can only apply one promo code per order.
Promo codes cannot create a negative balance.
If a traveler is trying to apply a promo code that offers a discount greater than their order or total balance due, they will receive an error message.
Promo codes cannot be removed once they’ve been applied. If a discount needs to be removed, contact help@squadtrip.com
