What is PenelopeMobile?
PenelopeMobile is a mobile version of Penelope designed to allow direct service providers access to key features on a smartphone or tablet. PenelopeMobile gives staff who provide services in client homes or in the community the ability to:
Deliver impact beyond the desk
Get real-time access to information on the go
Provide consistently high levels of care wherever, whenever
Setting User Preferences
Follow the instructions below to set your default login preferences (e.g. to be taken to the desktop version of Penelope or PenelopeMobile when logging in):
Navigate to your My Home page in Penelope.
Open the My Profile sidebar by clicking on it (if not already open).
Click Edit My Preferences.
Select Penelope or PenelopeMobile from the Login Preferences field. If Penelope is selected you will be taken to the desktop version of Penelope each time you log in. If PenelopeMobile is selected you will be taken to the mobile version of Penelope each time you log in.
Click Save.
How to Login from Penelope Desktop
To login to PenelopeMobile from the desktop version of Penelope follow the steps below:
Navigate to your My Home page in Penelope.
Click on the icon labeled Mobile in the left-hand navigation bar.
PenelopeMobile will open in the same window. Follow the instructions below to log back into the desktop version of Penelope.
How to Access Your Calendar in PenelopeMobile
The Calendar tile will allow you to view your schedule including event details (attendees, time and duration, location, event status etc) in PenelopeMobile. Depending on the device you are using the location of the Calendar tile may vary. Below you will find the most common locations.

Using a Tablet
When using a tablet you are most likely going to find the Calendar at the top of the page (see image below).
Tap on the Calendar tile to open your Calendar.
Using a Phone
When using a phone you are most likely going to find the Calendar directly below the PenelopeMobile logo (depending on your phone you may need to scroll down a little bit).
Tap on the Calendar tile to open your Calendar.
How to Log Out of PenelopeMobile
The Logout icon/tile will log you out of PenelopeMobile and the desktop version of Penelope (at the same time). Depending on the device you are using the location of the Logout icon/tile may vary. Below you will find the most common locations.
Using a Tablet
When using a tablet you are most likely going to find the Logout tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).
To logout of PenelopeMobile/Penelope tap the Logout icon/tile.
Alternatively, if you are viewing your Calendar you may also find the Logout icon at the top of the page (see image below).
Using a Phone
When using a phone you are most likely going to find the Logout tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Alternatively, if you are viewing your Calendar you may also find the Logout icon at the top of the page by tapping the hamburger menu (see image below).
To logout of PenelopeMobile/Penelope tap the Logout icon.
How to switch to Penelope Desktop
The Work in Penelope icon/tile allows you to navigate directly to the desktop version of Penelope from within PenelopeMobile. Depending on the device you are using the location of the Work in Penelope icon/tile may vary. Below you will find the most common locations.
Using a Tablet
When using a tablet you are most likely going to find the Work in Penelope tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).
To access the desktop version of Penelope tap the Work in Penelope icon/tile.
Alternatively, if you are viewing your Calendar you may also find the Work in Penelope icon at the top of the page (see image below).
Using a Phone
When using a phone you are most likely going to find the Work in Penelope tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Alternatively, if you are viewing your Calendar you may also find the Penelope icon at the top of the page by tapping the hamburger menu (see image below).
To access the desktop version of Penelope tap the Penelope icon.
How to Access Technical Support
The Technical Support tile allows you to contact your agency’s technical support team from within PenelopeMobile. Depending on the device you are using the location of the Technical Support tile may vary. Below you will find the most common locations.
Using a Tablet
When using a tablet you are most likely going to find the Technical Support tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).
To contact your technical support team tap the Technical Support tile.
Using a Phone
When using a phone you are most likely going to find the Technical Support tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).
To contact your technical support team tap the Technical Support tile.
How to Access the Penelope Knowledge Base
The Help tile allows you to directly access the Penelope Knowledge Base (i.e. the Penelope help site) from within PenelopeMobile. Depending on the device you are using the location of the Help tile may vary. Below you will find the most common locations.
Using a Tablet
When using a tablet you are most likely going to find the Help tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).
To access the Penelope Help Knowledge Base tap the Help tile. It is also possible to access the Penelope Knowledge Base by clicking here.
Using a Phone
When using a phone you are most likely going to find the Help tile by scrolling to the bottom of the page (see image below).

Messages and Case Loads
Viewing and accessing Messages and Case Loads in PenelopeMobile is currently not available but will be coming soon. If you have any questions please contact the Penelope Support Team.
