Using the Data Quality Issue List (DQIL)
Updated over 2 years ago

The Data Quality Issues List (DQIL) in Penelope allows your agency to proactively address errors as they occur, improving both your organizational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

The DQIL appears as a tab on the Collaboration Suite in Penelope, giving each user clear insight and one-click access to any data entry errors that need to be addressed. Checking the DQIL tab can become part of each user’s morning or weekly routine, and supervisors can track the data cleanup in real-time.

Wherever you are in Penelope your DQIL is always a single click away.

  3. To edit the Status click Edit Status. A drop-down will appear with the following options: Not Resolved, Resolved, Not an Issue. Select the appropriate status and the field will automatically update (you do not need to click save etc). If Not an Issue is selected a comments field will appear prior to the list being updated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What happens after you change the status of an item on the DQIL? Will it be removed with the next nightly routine?

Answer: It will not. Resolved/Not an Issue items will remain in the DQIL tagged as Resolved/Not an Issue for 30 days, after which they will disappear. Blank/Not Resolved items will stay on the list until the status has been changed to Resolved/Not an Issue.

Questions: What happens if you change the status but don’t actually address the issue? For example; mark it as Resolved but don’t do anything? Will it revert the status on the nightly routine unless Not an Issue was selected?

Answer: No, the DQIL will believe a Worker’s input if marked as Resolved. If an issue has a status of Resolved and it has not been resolved, it will continue to say Resolved.
