Game Status is a new feature that allows for games to be in a recruitment status and allows for players to search for games by “frequency” ie; Weekly, bi-weekly, etc.

Before we can officially launch Game Status, we need to launch “Adventure Schedule”. Now when you create an adventure, you create a schedule for it. This would be like setting the schedule to “Weekly” on Wednesdays at 7pm. You’ll still need to schedule sessions, but this “Adventure Schedule” will allow us to filter on game frequency.

So to start this project, GMs will need to update the schedule for all of their current games. We’ll let GMs update their schedules all this week, and then next week, we’re going to do what is called a “backfill”. This is where we will try to estimate your games schedule and then update it automatically.

Schedule is only required for campaigns. Once we finish the backfill, we will have everything we need come the launch of Game Status.

Adding Schedule to Existing Adventures

When you open one of your existing Adventures, you will see an alert at the bottom of the "Sessions" box, that will tell you you need to add a schedule to the game. Click on the "Add Session" button, and it will open the "Change Schedule" pop up.

Setting Your Schedule

Once this field is open, select the day of the week, start time, and frequency for your adventure. The "Frequency" options are weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or custom.

You can always update the Schedule for your game by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner, to open the settings, and selecting "Edit Schedule".

When adding a Session to your Adventure, if it is not in line with the Schedule you have set for that Adventure, an alert will show at the bottom of the screen to let you know that the session is "off schedule." You can still schedule sessions even if they are not on the set schedule.

Creating a New Adventure

When creating a new Adventure, you will need to set up the Schedule/Frequency for the Adventure. If you need to change it later, you can always update it from the settings on the Adventure.
