If you paid before uninstalling but now see an upgrade prompt, check the store and current subscription first. An earlier invoice and today’s app access can show different states.
1. Check the store and plan
Compare the store’s
myshopify.comaddress with the store on the invoice.Open Sternify from Shopify admin → Apps, then open Subscription.
Note the current plan and which feature is unavailable. Reviews and the cart drawer require Pro.
Starter, but reviews or cart drawer are locked
Those features require Pro.
No active plan after reinstalling
Ask support to compare your previous billing and current subscription.
Two charges or unexpected approval terms
Send both charge references before using a new approval as a troubleshooting step.
2. Request an access review
Send support your store domain, previous plan, invoice reference and charge date, approximate uninstall/reinstall dates, and a screenshot of the current Subscription page. Describe the feature you cannot access.
Reinstallation does not automatically restore the previous subscription, promotion, or trial. Read any new approval terms before accepting them. Support must check the account before confirming an adjustment.
Before rebuilding your setup
Inspect existing offers, reviews, sections, and cart settings. Check the app embed and blocks in the current theme before creating replacements. Restoring access and reconnecting the storefront are separate steps.
If the main concern is an invoice, use the charge review guide.
