The backup file contains specific data uniquely linked to your account and device/browser. This ensures that only you can access your account, further bolstering security.

If your device is lost and you do not have a copy of the valid backup (e.g., cloud, another device), we are unfortunately unable to restore your account or data.

For your security, neither Stobox nor Fireblocks has access to your private keys or backup files, so the backup file must be explicitly backed up by a user. This ensures your financial information remains fully in your control.

This policy safeguards user privacy and ensures that only the backup holder has access to sensitive account information.

To protect against future loss, we strongly recommend making a copy of your valid backup file on another device or a cloud.

Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Store Backup Files Securely: Save your backup file in a highly secure, accessible location such as an encrypted hard drive or trusted cloud service.

  2. Create Redundant Backups: Make copies and keep them in different secure storage locations to reduce risks.

  3. Document Backup Locations: Privately record where backup files are stored for easy retrieval.
