Customers may ask to have their billing date changed to a specific day. Previously, this could only be done via Stripe, but now you can do it directly in Stora.
💡 You can only change the billing date to the current day; it's not possible to select a future date.
1. Head over to the customer’s subscription in Stora. Under the Billing section, you’ll see a Reset button.
2. Click Reset to change the billing date to today.
💡 A preview of the prorated invoice that will be generated instantly for the customer will appear.
4. Confirm the change by selecting Reset billing date to generate the prorated invoice and update the billing date.
💡 If the customer wants their billing date changed to a future date, you can set a Task in Stora to complete this on the appropriate day.
For example, if the new billing date should be the 3rd of each month, set a Task for the 3rd to follow this process.
