You can use Stora webhooks with Zapier to automate tasks when something happens in Stora — no custom development required.
A native Zapier app is coming soon. This guide explains how to automate workflows today using webhooks.
What does this let me do?
Webhooks notify Zapier instantly when an event happens in Stora, such as:
A booking being completed
An invoice being paid
A subscription being cancelled
A unit becoming available
Zapier can then trigger actions automatically.

Using Stora webhooks with Zapier, customers commonly:
Send SMS or email notifications
Create or update CRM records
Add rows to Google Sheets
Trigger accounting or reporting workflows
Notify teams in Slack or Microsoft Teams
How to connect Stora to Zapier
Step 1: Create a webhook in Zapier
In Zapier:
Create a new Zap
Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger
Select Catch Hook
Copy the webhook URL Zapier provides in the test tab
Step 2: Add the webhook in Stora
In Stora:
Create a new webhook endpoint
Paste the Zapier webhook URL
Select the event(s) you want to listen for
Save the webhook
At this point, you'll want to test that Zapier is receiving data from your webhook. Do this be creating or updating an event that's in your webhook, so Zapier has a record to achieve. E.g. if the webhook is for contact.created, create a Contact in Stora.
In Zapier, select find new records to retrieve the data.
Step 3: Build your automation
Once Zapier receives an event from Stora, you can proceed with building out your Zap workflow as you see fit, adding actions that connect it to other tools. Once built, test the workflow to be sure everything works as you expect, then turn it on.

Do I need a developer?
No. Most Zapier-based automations can be set up without writing code. However, the more technical you are, the easier it will be.
For more advanced workflows, a developer may help — but many customers start with Zapier alone.
Is there a Zapier app?
