Valuations (Consumer Desktop)

What your client sees during the valuation journey in their Street desktop account, from appointment to instruction

Valuations in the Consumer Desktop account

Clients who prefer to manage their valuation on desktop can do so directly through their Street account, without needing to use the mobile app.

Tip! You can set up online valuation bookings so clients can book a valuation directly into your calendar! For more information, see this help article.

Managing the Valuation Appointment

Before the visit, your client can view the details of the appointment, including the valuers name, from their desktop account by clicking into their Seller or Landlord tab to see a breakdown of their valuation.

Note - It is not possible for a client to cancel a valuation appointment. If they need to cancel they will need to contact your agency directly.

The Valuation Report

When you send the valuation report, your client will receive the email notification 'Valuation Send' (if this is enabled in your Notification Preferences).

Note - If you uncheck the 'send valuation to owner' tickbox when sending the valuation report, it will not show in the seller's Street account until you send it from the valuation page.

The client can then view the report using the 'See Valuation Report' button.

Note - Clients don't have to log in to view their report, they can access it directly via the link in their email without signing in to their Street account if they prefer.

The valuation report will include all of the information you added when creating the report in Street, including your introduction message, URL's, videos as well as the recommended listing price and fees.

Valuation Consultation Appointment

When sending the valuation report, you also have the option of booking a valuation consultation appointment - a follow-up call or meeting to walk the client through the report and answer any questions. You can book this during the report sending process, or from the valuation screen afterwards.

Note - Valuation consultation appointments are not currently accessible from the Street desktop account.

Proceeding with an Instruction

If your client is happy with the valuation and wants to instruct you, they can do so directly from the valuation report by clicking the 'Lets go Ahead' button at the bottom of the report.

Once confirmed, you'll be notified in Street via a branch notification and can begin the property onboarding workflow.

Your client will also see a summary of what to expect next as they begin their property onboarding journey with your agency, typically starting with the Property Information Questionnaire or AML Complianc (using the Landmark integration) (if you have these features enabled) however it's important to note these features are currently only available via the Street Consumer App.
