Sellers Managing Viewings
Sellers have the option of managing their viewings either through the Street Consumer App or by logging in on desktop via browser.
This article focuses on the desktop functionality however for information on how this works via app see our Seller Managing Viewings (App) help article.
Viewings via Desktop
From the Seller > Viewings tab, a seller can see a breakdown of any upcoming, completed and cancelled viewings.
Upcoming Viewings
The upcoming heading shows a list of all upcoming viewings, both confirmed and unconfirmed, including key details such as the applicant's first name, buyer and financial position.
Note - Provisional viewings will not show in the seller's consumer account.
If a viewing is confirmed, the seller can click the 'manage' button to add it to their calendar or cancel the viewing, depending on the notice to cancel a viewing as setup in your branch online booking settings. If the viewing is within the notice to cancel, they sell will instead see a prompt to call your agency on your branch phone number.
If the seller cancels a viewing, you will receive an on screen message in Street, a notification in your notification centre as well as an email to the branch email address. The status of the viewing will update to 'cancelled' and the 'viewing cancelled' notifications will be sent out to the relevant parties, if toggled on in your notification preferences.
If a viewing is unconfirmed, sellers have the option to accept or decline the viewing.
Accepting a Viewing
If the seller accepts the viewing, you will receive a notification in your notification centre and the agent assigned to the viewing will also receive an email. In Street, the vendor confirmation toggle will update to 'checked' and, if the viewing has been confirmed by the applicant and agent, will send an automated email to the applicant/s and seller/s letting them know the viewing is confirmed, depending on your notification preferences.
Declining a Viewing
If the seller declines a viewing, they can optionally suggest other dates and times or leave a note as to why they are declining.
If a viewing is declined, you will receive an on screen message in Street, a notification in your notification centre as well as an email to the branch email address. The status of the viewing in Street will update to 'rejected' however there is no 'viewing declined' notification so nothing will be sent out to the seller or applicant at this stage. This gives you control to manage how you update the applicant or rearrange the viewing if needed.
Completed Viewings
The completed heading shows a list of all previous viewings that went ahead. These viewings can be clicked into to view the details of that viewing including any agent feedback (submitted by the agent via the Street Agent app at the time of conducting a viewing) and any applicant feedback (that your agency has submitted via Street and toggled to display on the seller's account).
Cancelled Viewings
The cancelled heading shows any viewings that were cancelled, either by the applicant, agency or seller, as well as any viewings rejected by the seller. The seller cannot interact with these viewings any further, these are stored for informational purposes only.
