What’s new in Street.co.uk? Development Update November 2023

November has been full of updates, with a host of improvements to Client Accounting that are set to make life even easier for Street.co.uk agents. Plus, you asked and we listened, we’ve released an update to notes meaning you can now edit and view the history. Read on for the full update!

Client accounting updates

Mark tenancies that don’t need an inspection

It is now possible to mark any of your fully managed tenancies as 'not requiring an inspection' either in bulk from the Inspections table or on an individual basis from the tenancy details. By doing this, you will be able to indicate that a specific tenancy does not require an inspection, rather than the entire property. This provides you with greater control over each individual tenancy that requires or does not require an inspection.

For information on marking tenancies as not requiring an inspection, see here.

Remove invoices from maintenance jobs

If you have added an invoice incorrectly on a maintenance job, you can now void the invoice directly from the job page itself, making it easier to manage maintenance tasks. Additionally, if the invoice isn't needed, you can void it and mark the job as not requiring an invoice.

For information on voiding an invoice on a maintenance job, see here.

Lettings related merge fields

We’ve added a whole host of new merge fields relating to lettings, for both document templates and notifications. This update gives you even more control and flexibility when creating a template / editing a notification relating to lettings.

Document template merge fields

Relating to a tenancy:

  • [[ tenancy_rent_payment_day ]]

  • [[ tenancy_deposit_amount ]]

  • [[ tenancy_length ]]

  • [[ lettings_applicant_address ]] (This will be the address when they are first created within Street)

  • [[ tenancy_deposit_scheme ]]

Relating to a lettings application:

  • Text Inputs for Owner, Tenant and Agent (e-signature merge fields)

  • Checkbox fields for Owner and Tenants, both Optional and required (e-signature merge fields)

Notification merge fields

Relating to maintenance:

  • [[ assigned_user_name ]]

  • Assigned User contact details:

    • [[ assigned_user_direct_line ]]

    • [[ assigned_user_mobile_number ]]

    • [[ assigned_user_email_address ]]

    • [[ assigned_user_alt_email_address ]]

Edit notes and view history

Our latest update allows you to edit notes directly on the activity stream. This feature enables you to maintain a comprehensive record of all updates and edits. With this feature, you can easily monitor who said what and when, ensuring transparency, accountability and a paper trail if you ever need it. You no longer have to worry about losing track of important information or wondering who made specific edits!

For more information on notes, see here.

Submit additional feedback

When providing viewing feedback to a vendor, you now have the ability to add more feedback after submitting your initial feedback. You can choose to either email it to them or make it available in the app. Alternatively, if you prefer not to send it immediately, you can save it for your reference and come back to it later.

For more information on additional feedback, see here.

As November comes to a close, we hope that the recent updates on Street.co.uk will enhance your user experience. With the holiday season fast approaching, our team is committed to bringing you even more exciting updates, ensuring that you start off the year 2024 on a high note!
