Real-time transcription and translation (live caption translation) provides real-time captions and translation for live events. This feature is exclusive to Max plan users; other users can also try it for a limited time, with a trial cap of 5 minutes (this 5-minute live caption trial allowance and the free 15-minute allowance for file-processing mode are two separate limits).
To unlock this feature, upgrade to the Max plan. Subanana plan upgrades use a "time stacking and carry-over" mechanism: after you upgrade, all unused minutes from your current plan carry over in full to the new plan, and you gain the new plan's advanced features. Just subscribe to the new plan directly — the system completes the merge automatically, and the upgrade takes effect immediately.
"Real-time transcription and translation" is now a standalone project type — select "Live transcription" in the project creation menu to create a live caption session. Once it is created, you can start capturing audio, and the system shows the transcription and translation results side by side in real time. Each live caption session supports one target translation language.

In live caption translation mode, unless you enable recording for that session, audio from the live stream is not stored; the transcription and translation text results are kept for you to review later.
