An exchange order lets swftbox deliver a new item to your customer and pick up the original item in a single trip. This saves time and gives your customer a seamless experience.
Pricing
Exchange orders are billed at 1.5x the standard delivery fee (e.g., AED 22.50 for a same-day exchange) since the driver handles both a delivery and a pickup in one visit.
Before you start
The original order must have been delivered β you can only request an exchange on a completed delivery.
Have the new item packed, labeled, and ready for the driver to collect at your pickup location.
How to create an exchange
Go to the Orders page in your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com.
Find the delivered order you want to exchange.
Click the three dots (β―) on the right side of the order.
Select Request Exchange.
Provide the exchange details β what item is being returned and what is being sent.
Choose the delivery method and add any remarks or special instructions.
If there is a price difference, specify the payment method for the new item (COD or prepaid).
Click Confirm.
What happens next
swftbox schedules a driver to pick up the new item from your location.
The driver delivers the new item to the customer and collects the return in the same visit.
The returned item is brought back to your pickup location or the swftbox warehouse.
Your customer receives WhatsApp notifications about the exchange delivery.
Good to know
Exchange orders appear as a separate line item on your invoice.
If the customer is unavailable, the same retry and flagging process applies as with regular deliveries.
You can track the exchange order in your Control Room just like any other delivery.
