swftbox offers several order enhancements that add extra verification or handling to your deliveries. These features help protect high-value items, meet compliance requirements, or accommodate special package sizes — and you can enable them globally or on a per-order basis.
Available enhancements
Here is what each enhancement does:
OTP (One-Time Password) — Your customer receives a unique code via WhatsApp or SMS. The driver must enter this code to complete the delivery, ensuring the package is handed to the right person.
Signature Confirmation — The driver collects a digital signature from your customer at the point of delivery, giving you proof that the package was received.
Emirates ID Verification — The driver verifies your customer's Emirates ID before handing over the package. This is useful for regulated items or age-restricted products.
Chilled Delivery — Your package is transported in a temperature-controlled environment, ideal for perishable goods like food, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics.
Oversized Handling — For packages that exceed the standard size limit of 20×20×20 cm or weigh more than 7 kg, this enhancement ensures your item is handled with the right vehicle and care.
Pricing
Each enhancement is charged per delivery on top of your standard delivery fee:
OTP verification: AED 5 per order
Signature confirmation: AED 5 per order
Emirates ID check: AED 5 per order
Chilled delivery: AED 5 per order
Oversized handling: AED 30 per order
You can combine multiple enhancements on a single order. For example, an order with both OTP and Signature would add AED 10 to the delivery fee.
How to enable enhancements by default
If you want certain enhancements applied to every order automatically:
Log in to your Control Room at controlroom.swftbox.com.
Go to Configurations from the left sidebar.
Scroll to the Order Enhancements section.
Toggle on the enhancements you want enabled by default.
Click Save.
Once enabled, every new order you create will automatically include those enhancements. You can still override this on individual orders if needed.
How to add enhancements to a single order
If you only need an enhancement for specific deliveries rather than all of them:
When creating a new order in Control Room, look for the Enhancements section in the order form.
Select the enhancements you want for this particular delivery.
Complete and submit the order as usual.
This is useful when most of your orders are standard but occasionally you need extra verification for a high-value item.
Standard package limits
swftbox standard deliveries are designed for packages within these limits:
Maximum weight: 7 kg
Maximum dimensions: 20 × 20 × 20 cm
If your package exceeds either limit, the Oversized enhancement (AED 30) will apply. If you regularly ship larger items, you can enable Oversized handling by default in your Configurations to avoid any delays.
Good to know
Enhancements set in Configurations apply to all future orders — they do not retroactively affect existing orders.
If you use Shopify or WooCommerce, enhancements configured in Control Room will apply to orders synced from your store as well.
Your customers are notified about OTP requirements via WhatsApp, so they know to have the code ready when the driver arrives.
Enhancement charges appear as line items on your monthly invoice alongside your delivery fees.
