Overview
Teachers can favorite classes they use most and hide classes they don’t need right now. This helps keep your class list clean and easy to navigate, especially when you have many classes or groups.
⭐ Teachers often find this especially helpful during the second half of the school year, like when returning from winter break.

How to Favorite a Class ⭐
Favoriting a class pins it to the top of your class list so you can find it faster.
On Web
Go to the Classes tab.
Click Active Classes to expand the list.
Hover over a class or group and click the ⭐ star icon
ORClick the three dots (⋯) and select Add this class to favorites.
✅ The class moves to the top of your list and appears in a Favorites section.
📌 To remove a favorite, click the ⭐ icon again at any time.
On Mobile
Open the Classes tab.
Tap the three dots (⋯) next to a class or group.
Tap Add class to favorites.
How to Hide a Class 👁️
Hiding a class removes it from your main class list but keeps it available if you need it later.
On Web
Go to the Classes tab.
Click Active Classes to expand the list.
Hover over a class or group and click the 👁️ eye icon
ORClick the three dots (⋯) and select Hide this class.
✅ The class moves to the Hidden section and no longer appears in your Active Classes list.
📌 You can still message hidden classes.
On Mobile
Open the Classes tab.
Tap the three dots (⋯) next to a class or group.
Tap Hide class from class list.
How to Unhide a Class 🔁
Open the Hidden section in your Classes list.
Hover over (web) or tap the three dots (⋯) (mobile).
Click or tap the 👁️ eye icon to unhide the class.
The class will reappear in your Active Classes list.

Can families see if a class is favorited or hidden?
No. This only affects your view as a teacher. Think of this as a feature that helps make TalkingPoints easier to use!
Does hiding a class delete it?
No. Hidden classes are still active and can be used anytime. Hidden classes can also be unhidden at any time.
