Admins can customize the date to archive messages in teacher accounts for the end of the school year. This way, message archiving can align with each district’s rollover timeline. If a date is not selected, TalkingPoints will automatically archive messages on July 1st. See how to set up the dates below!
Admins can see previous year's messages by going to the Messages tab and selecting the appropriate filter. This article explains how teachers and staff can access messages from previous years.

Step 1: Click ‘Settings.’
Step 2: Choose the school year start date.
Step 3: Once the start date is selected, click ‘Save’. The custom start date will be reflected in the filter settings.
Optional: Admins can opt into allowing staff with teacher-level access to view prior years’ messages.
