TalkingPoints for Families app:
Log out of the app. Once you get your first SMS message from someone at your school/district, follow the instructions below to opt out via SMS. If you later decide that you want to continue communication with your school or district, simply text REJOIN in that same text message thread.
SMS text:
Opt out of all TalkingPoints messages
Open any message thread from a staff member, school, or district through TalkingPoints. Text STOP in English.
Sending Stop. with punctuation will not work. Please only send the letters STOP to opt out of messages.
Rejoin TalkingPoints messages
To start receiving messages again, open any message thread from a staff member, school, or district through TalkingPoints and text REJOIN in English.
If you no longer have a TalkingPoints message thread saved, please contact your school or a teacher to get the phone number where you need to text REJOIN to.
