SMS contacts who have left chat or opted out will need to text 'Rejoin' to a specific phone number. If they need help, you can find the number they need to text by following the steps below:

Step 1: From your class and group list, select the class or group with the student whose contact has left chat or opted out.

Step 2: Find the contact who has left chat or opted out.

Step 3: Hover over the 'left chat' or 'opted out' status.

Step 4: Record the phone number that appears.

Phone numbers vary. If you have multiple family members who want to rejoin, make sure you look at each contact for the specific number they need to text.

Step 5: Instruct the contact to text Rejoin to the number you recorded.
