The Dispatch Settings tab controls how bookings are processed after customers complete them. This is where you configure dispatch behavior, customer communications, and operational workflows that happen behind the scenes like when confirmation emails are sent, how jobs are assigned to drivers, and what timing rules apply to dispatch.

Communication
Control when confirmation emails are sent and whether customers can cancel bookings through email links.
The following options are available to control booking communication:
Do not send confirmation email for ASAP bookings until driver is assigned
Delays sending the confirmation email until a driver is assigned.Disable the option to cancel through the link in the booking confirmation
Prevents customers from cancelling via the confirmation email link
Dispatch Options
Set how bookings are assigned to drivers, including manual or automatic dispatch, timing thresholds for ASAP bookings, and automatic dispatch schedules.
Choose how new jobs from this Bookings App are dispatched.
Manual (default): All jobs require manual dispatch.
Automatic: All jobs are dispatched automatically at the "Dispatch time to pickup" (see below).
Minimum Order Time(minutes): Defines the minimum time required between when a booking is made and the scheduled pickup time.
This ensures sufficient time for processing and driver assignment. For example, if set to 30 minutes, bookings must be scheduled at least 30 minutes in advance and cannot be made for immediate pickup
Dispatch method threshold: Minutes before requested pickup time when a booking becomes an ASAP booking (default: 60 minutes).
Bookings requested within this threshold use the ASAP automated dispatch algorithm; bookings beyond this threshold use the Pre-book algorithm.
Dispatch time to pickup(Manual dispatch notification message) : This setting depends on your Default Dispatch Action.
Manual: Minutes before pickup when admins receive a push notification to dispatch the job (default: 60 minutes).
Automatic: Minutes before pickup when the job is automatically dispatched (default: 60 minutes).
Bookings with pickup times longer than this setting remain in "dispatch manually" status until automatic dispatch triggers.
Added Instruction for Client: Provides a URL where additional instructions or information for customers can be shared.
The link can be used to guide customers with details such as pickup instructions, special requirements, or service-related information, which they can access during the booking process
Remember to click Save after editing any setting.
