Charge for time, not distance
Offer flexible ride options where customers book your service by the hour—perfect for city tours, business travel, or on-demand usage.
Instead of calculating fares based on distance, hourly pricing allows you to charge based on how long the vehicle is reserved, giving both you and your customers more flexibility.
How it helps your business
Create premium offerings with time-based pricing models, like hourly hires, VIP rides, and city tours
Increase revenue through longer bookings and extended usage
Provide flexibility for customers who need multi-stop or open-ended trips
Reduce dependency on predefined routes or distance calculations
Better align pricing with services where time matters more than distance
How it works
When a customer books a ride with hourly pricing, the system calculates the total fare based on how long the vehicle is reserved—giving you full control over how time translates into revenue.
Create a pricing rule and select “Hourly Rates” as the pricing type
Define when the rule applies using schedule settings (optional)
Choose where the pricing should be available:
Web Booker
Dispatch Panel
Enable pricing for relevant vehicle types
Configure pricing components:
Set a minimum price for the booking
Add a start price if required
Define the hourly rate (base price per hour)
Optionally add waiting charges per minute
Use threshold pricing to adjust rates after a certain duration
Example: after 1 hour, a different hourly rate applies
The system calculates the total fare based on booking duration and configured pricing
