Permissions report

How to use the permissions report to audit what each teacher and staff member can access in Teach 'n Go.

Written by Abdullah Al-Hussein

The Permissions report gives admins a full view of what every teacher and staff member is allowed to do in Teach 'n Go — one row per person, one column per permission rule. It's the fastest way to audit access across your whole team.

This report is useful for admins checking permissions. If you don't see it, ask your admin — Log reports may be restricted to admins only.

Finding the report

Go to Reports → Teacher and staff reports → Permissions report.

What it shows

Each row is one teacher or staff member. Columns include:

  • Name and email

  • Role

  • Whether they have full access or assigned-only access (meaning they only see classes, students and lessons assigned to them)

  • Whether they have access to archived records

  • One column for each permission rule, showing their effective setting

Filtering and searching

Use the search box to find a specific person. Use the Columns picker to focus on the permission rules most relevant to you.

Exporting

Click Export to download an Excel file. This is useful for sharing an access summary with other admins or keeping an offline record.
