You can easily change the teacher assigned to a class or a specific lesson in Teach ’n Go. This guide shows you how to update teacher assignments and how archiving works when a teacher is no longer active.

Change the teacher for a class

Follow these steps to update the teacher for a recurring class schedule.

  1. Open the Class details page.

  2. At the top of the page, find the Schedule section under the class title.

  3. Click the Edit option to open schedule editing.

  4. Select the recurring schedule you want to update.

  5. Tick the checkboxes next to the schedules you want to change.

  6. Open the Edit dropdown and select Edit teacher.

  7. Choose the new teacher and save your changes.

Change the teacher for a single lesson

To update the teacher for an individual lesson:

  1. Open the lesson’s Lesson card.

  2. Click the Teacher button from the right-hand edit menu.

  3. Select the new teacher from the dropdown list.

  4. Choose whether you want to update only this lesson or multiple lessons.

  5. Click Save.

Archiving and removing teachers

Teachers with past or current lesson records cannot be deleted. Instead, you can archive them. Archiving preserves historical data while removing it from active use.

How to archive a teacher

  1. Open the teacher’s Profile.

  2. Select the Archive option from the More button.

  3. Confirm the change.

Once archived, the teacher no longer appears in active filters, but all historical lesson records remain available.

Summary / next steps

You can change teachers at the class or lesson level quickly from the class schedule or lesson card. Archiving helps keep your teacher list organised while preserving history.
