Teach ’n Go allows you to accept payments for future fees, so students can prepay for upcoming classes or services. When recorded correctly, these fees will automatically be marked as settled once payment is processed.
Add future fees to a receipt or invoice
Go to Payments.
Click New receipt or New invoice.
Select the relevant student.
Click + Add a fee.
In the dropdown menu, you can see a list of future fees that are scheduled for the student.
Select the future fee(s) you want to include.
Click to add them to the receipt.
You can also set all future fees for a set period and add them to a single receipt/invoice.
Complete the payment
Review the receipt details.
Click Save.
Record the payment as usual.
Once the receipt is generated and payment is processed:
The selected future fees will be marked as settled.
The student’s account will reflect the advance payment.
Troubleshooting
Future fee not appearing? Make sure the fee has already been scheduled for the student.
Fee not marked as paid? Confirm that the receipt/invoice was saved and the payment recorded.
Added wrong future fee? Remove it before saving the receipt.
Recording advance payments ensures accurate tracking of prepaid classes and services while keeping student accounts up to date.
